Professor Louhghalam along with Prof. Tootkaboni and former UMassD student Meshkat Botshekan have been featured in a story by The New York Times. The story describes the technology and the app “Carbin” based on the idea of citizen-enabled crowed-sourcing  for measuring and monitoring road quality and its associated fuel consumption and GHG emission.
